Workplace Wellbeing
Guide Launch
Supportive, Healthy, Positive
The 30th of April marked a meaningful milestone as the Health and
Wellbeing Committee proudly launched our new Workplace Wellbeing
Guide. This guide represents a shared commitment to fostering a
supportive, healthy and positive environment for all staff across our
services.
The launch took place as part of National Workplace Wellbeing Day and
Sharon Peek
was a wonderful success, bringing together colleagues from across
departments to recognise the importance of wellbeing in our daily work. We welcomed a range of
external vendors to the hospital on the day, alongside our internal services, who showcased the wide
variety of wellbeing supports available to staff. The guide itself is a practical resource designed to
support staff in maintaining their physical, mental, financial, social and cultural wellbeing.
To ensure that all colleagues could share in the occasion, copies of the Workplace Wellbeing Guide,
along with some well-deserved treats were delivered across the wards and to our staff in PACU
Fairview. We hope these small gestures helped mark the day and highlight the value we place on staff
wellbeing across all locations.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the development of the
guide and to those who helped make the launch a success. Your contribution to this project was
instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.
We invite you to read the guide by accessing The Mater Hospital Workplace Wellbeing
Guide and make use of the tools and supports within it.
