We hope in the mission office to spark
curiosity, inspire confidence, perhaps
ignite a future career in healthcare
and finally we hope when they come
home in the evening wondering what9s
for dinner, they might have a slight
inkling into how your day was and
maybe a new appreciation for Mum &
Dad. To conclude, while education is
at the core of the programme, as has
been so beautifully said by WB Yeats,
8education is not the filling of a pail,
but the lighting of a fire.9
Over the course of the four day
programme, students take part in
engaging talks, simulations, hands on
activities, and visits to clinical areas,
giving them a real insight into hospital
life.
